I skimmed the condensed versions of "Perfect Health the Natural Way" by Mary-Ann Shearer (www.100days.com to health and www.mary-anns.com ) and
"The Food Mood Solution" by Jack Challem. They are available to read on this forward. Mary-Ann found that by eating more simply and combining carbohydrates (like bread) with vegetables (NOT meats), her health improved quickly.
